He is married to Gail, his wife of 60+ years, and they have two grown daughters. In addition to bowling, Rich is a fan of all San Francisco sports teams.

Janelle Carey, Matchmaker, Vice President, was a life-long Californian until retirement and the desire for a somewhat slower pace moved her and husband, Bob, to Reno where they have lived since 2020. A 26-year member of the Granada Match Club (Livermore, CA), she served as matchmaker for almost 15 years and secretary for about 6 years. In addition to bowling, Janelle and her husband enjoy cruises, visiting national parks, golfing, and playing cards as well as spending time with family and friends.

Diane Smith, Secretary, was born and raised in Puyallup, Washington, where she began bowling at the age of eight with her mother and father. Her mother worked at Tacoma Bowling Center where she would set the pins for the family. Later, Diane played on her school's bowling team and has continued to bowl throughout her life - loving the game and enjoying the fellowship. She moved to Reno in 2009, and married her wonderful husband, Randy Smith, a year later. Diane is retired from Les Schwab Tires and considers Reno her forever home.

He first took up bowling in 1988 and has enjoyed the sport ever since. He has been married for nearly 40 years and has one grown son. After a 35-year career in application development for a steel mill, he retired and now enjoys having more time for the things he loves—including bowling, cruising, camping, and cooking. His move to Reno has given him a new place to call home and plenty of opportunities to continue enjoying life and meeting new people.

Jack Oetjen, Member-at-Large, began bowling in 1955 as a junior bowler at the then Bowlarium on "B" Street in Sparks, Nevada. He was also a regular bowler at the then Town and Country Lanes, which is now High Sierra Lanes, beginning when it first opened in 1958. In addition to bowling with the Match Club, he and his wife, Rita, bowl in several other leagues. Jack retired in 2022, after more than 50 years working in real estate.
David Strader, Member-at-Large, grew up in Southern California, first picking up a bowling ball when he was about 8 years old. During his early adulthood he played in Leagues in SoCal, before moving to Las Vegas where he continued his professional work in HVAC for another 30-plus years. Being closer to family and his two grandchildren are what brought David to Reno in 2021. When not bowling, you can find him him casting a fishing pole and hoping to beat his catch record of a #12 German Brown Trout.
